Letting Others Know They Are a Blessing

blessing

I was bragging to Mama about my staff and what a blessing each and everyone of them were to me and our residents.

“Be sure you tell them.” Mama reminded me.

I make it a habit to tell them thank you for their hard work on a regular basis, but I wondered if they really knew how much I appreciated them.

Recently, I had the opportunity to both show and tell them what a blessing they were to me and the residents.

Sometimes people do not know how much we appreciate them and all they do. We need to make it a habit to tell them.

2 Corinthians 9:8 says “God is able to make every blessing of yours overflow for you, so that in every situation you will always have all you need for any good work.”

I thank God for my staff every day and lift up any concerns I’m aware of to him.

Do you say thank you to others?  Do you let others know how they have blessed you?  Do you pray for those people in your life?

Why not start today?

  • These verses are so powerful when it comes to forgiving those who hurt us. The hand extending a bouquet of flowers brought back a memory of a time when I was led to give a bouquet of flowers to a boss who had insulted me in front of my co-workers. The bouquet released me from bitterness and I was given the ability to love her as she was. She was later fired for similar behavior. I would not have wanted that to happen to her, but unfortunately we reap what we sow no matter who we are. So glad for the grace to forgive. Thanks for sharing Lee!
