The True Cost of Friendship

 

We’ve all heard the old saying “keep your friends close and your enemies closer.”

There are relationships in which I would have been saved a lot of heartache if I’d listened

to that inner voice and the warning it provided.

True friends stay by us no matter what we are going through.  Often when we are going through a difficult time, we discover who our true friends are.

But there are friends who will stab us in the back, lead us astray, gossip about us, spread lies, and leave us brokenhearted.

1 Corinthians 15:33 says “Do not be misled.  “Bad company corrupts good character.”
