I had an individual I interacted with daily that was rude and very frustrating to deal with. I dreaded seeing this individual. But,God laid it on my heart to begin praying for her. I did

so and in time I saw the hard exterior begin to fade away.

She is now friendly and open when I see her.

Ephesians 4:32 says, “be ye kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, even as God also in Christ forgave you.”

God wants us to be kind and compassion to one another.

I could have held a grudge, but chose to listen to the promptings of the spirit of God.

We never know what another individual is going through and how showing a little kindness and compassion can make a difference in another person’s life. Showing kindness and compassion is part of showing His Kind of love.

Kindness and compassion are the themes of the Christmas season but they are characteristics we can show to others year round.
