Names of God: Jehovah Magen

Jehovah Magen means the Lord my Shield or the Lord my protector.

Blessed are you, Israel!
    Who is like you,
    a people saved by the Lord?
He is your shield and helper
    and your glorious sword.
Your enemies will cower before you,
    and you will tread on their heights.”  Deuteronomy 33:29

After this, the word of the Lord came to Abramin a vision:

“Do not be afraid, Abram.
    I am your shield,
    your very great reward.   Genesis 15:1

As for God, his way is perfect:
    The Lord’s word is flawless;
    he shieldsall who take refugein him.  Psalm 18:30
