Names of God: Elohim

Elohim means “My God” and means supreme one or mighty one.

Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning [Elohim] created the heavens and the earth.”

Elohim appears over 2,750 times in the Old Testament

Help me, O Yahweh my Elohim.
    Save me because of your mercy (Psalm 109:26).
