Movie Review: Do You Believe?

Do you ever wonder how God is designing His tapestry?  Life can be a mess at times and we wonder if anything matters.

doyoubelieveposterDo you believe is a story of a dozen different souls – all moving in different directions, all longing for something more. As their lives unexpectedly intersect, they each are about to discover there is power in the Cross of Christ – even if they don’t believe it. Yet. When a local pastor is shaken to the core by the visible faith of an old street-corner preacher, he is reminded that true belief always requires action. His response ignites a faith-fueled journey that powerfully impacts everyone it touches in ways that only God could orchestrate.

The individual stories are realistic and express the struggles that so many of us experience in life.  Whether it is homelessness, unwed mother, gang situations, struggles with God, illness, infertility, the loss of a child and numerous other stories, there will definitely be something each individual can relate to.  The stories are beautifully woven together for a dramatic conclusion.

If faced with some of these decisions and obstacles, you’ll have to decide how you would react.

You will leave this movie greatly touched and reminded of the love of God. However, this movie also serves as a reminder that life is short and we never know what the future holds.

Due to the gang activity and other action, I would not recommend this movie for children.  This movie can serve as a great segue for a conversation with youth, young people, couples or study groups.

If you enjoyed God’s Not Dead, you’ll definitely enjoy this movie.
