Has God Forgotten me?

I’ve longed to have someone to share my life with and children of my own and it has not happened.

Sometimes I want to cry out, God have you forgotten me?

Both times I’ve chosen a mate, I have chosen wrong.

Is the Lord your refuge?

I know others that would love to be married, but never found anyone.

Still others are married, but long for children, but are unable to have them.

During such times, it is so easy to ask if God cares about us.  Has he forgotten us or our situations?

Nahum 1:7  says, “The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.”

I don’t know why some find their soul mate as children or young adults and others never seem to find that person.  Or why some people that don’t want children so easily have them, while others that can’t struggle to have a family.

What I do know is that the Lord has not forgotten us.  He is there for us in both good and bad times.  He sees and hears our broken hearts and knows our greatest desires.

Do you wait on God in prayer?

There are always lessons in the journey and it is seeking and learning those lessons.

When the road becomes too rock and the path is not clear, the Lord is there to guide and direct us.

When our hearts are broken and soul troubled, the Lord is there to provide comfort and strength.

He wants us to lean on Him and trust Him to provide for our needs.  But oh, it is so much easier said than done.

How has the Lord provided when you thought He’d forgotten you?
