Grandma’s Southern Cornbread Dressings

Ingredients:

·         Cornbread Mix

·         ½ loaf of bread

·         2 eggs

·         Onion, diced

·         1 can of cream of chicken soup

·         1 can warm broth {or can use chicken broth if preparing with chicken}

·         1 tbsp. poultry seasoning

·         1 tbsp. butter

·         Celery {to taste}

·         Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

1.      Preheat oven 350°

2.      Prepare cornbread mix as directed

3.      Crumble cooled cornbread mix into mixing bowl

4.      Crumble bread in with cornbread; mix well

5.      Add in onion, celery and seasoning; mix well

6.      Add in soup and broth; mix well {want a little soupy}

7.      Spray pan

8.      Cook 45-60 minutes
