Change only comes with God’s Help

The path can be a long one, but with God’s help we will reach the other side

Depression almost destroyed me.  I worked hard to make a lot of changes and overcome numerous obstacles and road blocks.

Yet, I still struggled.  I was only able to make the changes I did because of one reason.

That is God’s help.

I never stopped asking for His help.  Even when I wondered if He heard me and cared I kept asking.

Even when I wondered if He cared, I kept asking.

Through it all I kept asking and believing that God would help me.

But ALL things are possible with God, even healing…in His Timing and Will

The answers and change did not happen right away.  I had no miraculous awakening.

Yet, in God’s time and God’s way He did help me change.

I learned how to love myself, forgive and love others.  I discovered how to deal with situations so that they were not all encompassing.  One small change after another mounted into a huge change.

All of this was possible because of God’s help.

I have to give Him all of the honor and glory in my transformation.

After all, He helped me to find the joy only He can bring.
