So we learned over the last two weeks that we needs 2 ½ cups of vegetables a day.
Last week discussed how to get in our daily dose of fruit.
So how this week let’s look at ways to get in our daily dose of vegetables?
- Throw some veggies in with your meat or protein
- Drink your vegetables
- Grill vegetables
- Add vegetables to a dish you’re making {Pizza, Lasagna, etc}
- Dip them in a light dip such as fat free yogurt or light sour cream
- Bake in bread {such as Zucchini bread}
- Add to soups or casseroles
