Planting a Seed
Figuring out the next steps after my sudden move have not been easy.
I was thrilled when I discovered I qualified to buy a house but heartbroken when I discovered I still needed to save a considerable amount.
Pouring my heart out to Mama, she said “but God has planted a seed. You know what’s possible now.”
She was right. Just a short time ago I’d not even realized that buying was even a reality.
However, I have worked hard to overcome some debts and it has paid off.
New ideas, new hopes and dreams all begin with the planting of a seed. Often it comes in unusual or unexpected ways, but the potential of where that seed can grow, and bloom is unlimited to our abilities and the Lord’s mercies.
Psalm 126:6 says “He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.”
Sometimes we need a seed of an idea to be planted. As we continue to sow the seed we will eventually reap what we sow.
Paul wrote “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” {Galatians 6:9}
What seeds are you sowing?
