The Blessing is becoming a popular song for Mother’s Day. The lyrics are based on Psalm 67.

The song was released as a music video by Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes in early March 2020. The pair wrote the song together, along with Steven Furtick and Chris Brown about a week earlier. The song soon became very popular on YouTub and with Christian Radio Stations.

The lyrics are very similar to an old Irish blessing.
