Why does God allow me to hurt?
Have you ever wondered why did God allow this to happen?
Why does God allow me to hurt?
Why can’t I ever get a break?
I’ve asked these questions time and again.
Yet, we are told that God is love and works all things out for the good of those that love the Lord.
To be used of God, means that we have to be tried and tested.
But why?
His reasons are various, but may include:
- God wants to get our attention
- He wants to prove His faithfulness
- He is preparing us for our future calling
- He will allow us to help others in the same scenario in the future
- To reveal our weakness and strengths to us
- To strengthen our faith in Him
- To remove our pride
God has a reason, but we may never understand His reasoning or even like what we’re going through.
However, we’ve been promised that nothing we go through will be wasted.
Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
So regardless of what you may be going through, God will use it for his purpose.
What is God teaching you?
