Book Review: Where the Last Rose Blooms by Ashley Clark

Alice runs a New Orleans flower shop alongside her aunt, but can’t stop thinking of her mother who went missing during Hurricane Katrina.

In a dual timeline, Clara goes behind her father’s back to work in 1861 Charleston as an abolitionist. Until things go all wrong in her work and with her plan.

This book is so enthralling and interesting. The information on how roses are used to pass information is so interesting. Once again, Ashley Clark has another hit with her novel Where the Last Rose Blooms.
