Book Review: Aurora Teagarden
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel will air the second Aurora Teagarden mystery tomorrow night.
Actually this is the second film, but based on the first book in the series—Real Murders.
Aurora “Roe” Teagarden is a local librarian, who meets with the members of the Real Murders Club to analyze and discuss famous murder cases. That is, until this hobby becomes real life. Someone is using these famous murders as a guideline. The “copycat” killings that follow are brutal and slowly killing off members of the Real Murders Club.
The members that survive are now all prime suspects in the murders.
I am working my way through the series and have read half of the eight books so far in the Aurora Teagarden series and highly recommend the entire series. Charlaine Harris will keep you guessing and turning the page until the very end of the book. She has proven with her other series that she is a master at writing murder and mystery.
Candance Cameron Bure brings Aurora Teagarden to life on the screen and really brings the action on the page to life. I am thrilled that Hallmark has chosen the Aurora Teagarden series to portray in their murder and mystery series.
These books and movies, along with the Hannah Swensen series, are not to be missed.
