Wives of King David: Haggith

Haggith was mother to Adonijah

Haggith is mentioned three times in the old testament in the line of David’s wives.  {2 Samuel 3:4; 1 Kings 1-2; 1 Chronicles 3:2}

According to Wikipedia her name means festive.  One wonders if she was the belle of the ball, given the meaning of her name.

She is listed as the mother of Adonijah.  He was born to David while he was still in Hebron.
