Who Do You Chase After?
I’ve made my fair share of mistakes in relationships and with men over the years. Sadly, I’ve had to learn some hard lessons.
Valentine’s Day is always a tough reality check of these lessons.
Yet, I’ve discovered there is one man I can chase after that will always be there for me.
So who is this wonderful man?
He’s my Savior. Jesus Christ.
You know what?
- He loves me with an everlasting love. {Jeremiah 31:3}
- He loves me so much that He died on the cross for my sins. {John 3:16}
- He loves me enough to want to spend eternity with me. {John 10:28}
- He loves me in spite of my flaws. {Romans 3:23}
- He only wants the very best for me. {Proverbs 3:5-6}
- He is willing to forgive my sins, if I will just ask {1 John 1:9}
- He knows the plans ahead for me {Jeremiah 29:11}
- He gives me the strength I need when I am weak {Philippians 4:13}
- He will offer guidance and direction {Matthew 7:7-8}
And you know what?
He loves you also.
So, I don’t know if that great love will ever come into my life.
But, even when He does I’ll continue to chase after Jesus first.
