Leaning on the Lord

I have undergone a lot of changes in both my personal and professional life in the last three months. More changes than I ever dreamed or imagined.

I’ll admit it has not been easy and some of these changes have really left me shaken and struggling.

I don’t understand all of these changes at the moment, but I know in time I will.  Seeing the lesson is much easier in hindsight then when we are going through the valley.

At the moment, I don’t know what the future holds in these various areas but I do know the one who has the answers. That is why I have to lean on the Lord and wait for Him to move.

There are times when I wish He would move faster, but I know He has his reasons. One of those reasons is to give me time to adjust and rest up for what He has in store for me.

We are told to “Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.” {Psalm 62:8}

So, I will continue to lean on the Lord and trust him while I wait.

How do you lean on the Lord?
