God’s Love is Greater than the Ocean

God’s love is greater than the ocean

I’m sitting here looking out over the ocean for as far as the eye can see.  Gazing out over the blue water all I can think of is how big the ocean is and how small I am in comparison.  Yet, even in all of that I know that God still loves me.

To think that God made the heaven and the earth and all that is in it, yet He loves me.

My heart overfill with the beauty of God’s creation.  Psalm 33 describes God’s love and his creation of the world.

He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap

Psalm 33:5-8 says:
He loveth righteousness and justice:
The earth is full of the lovingkindness of Jehovah.
By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made,
And all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap:
He layeth up the deeps in store-houses.
Let all the earth fear Jehovah:
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

Psalm 33: 21-22
For our heart shall rejoice in him,

Our heart will rejoice in Him

Because we have trusted in his holy name.
Let thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, be upon us,
According as we have hoped in thee.

As I watch the tides roll in, I am reminded of how God’s love for me is greater than the ocean.  An ocean that stretches out greater than the eye can see.

What reminds you of God’s love?
