When God Pushes Us Out of Our Comfort Zone

On more than one occasion I have asked the Lord to work and then questioned, doubted and debated when He took his time.

Sometimes we want the Lord to move and other times He moves when we’re not looking for it at all.

Several months ago, the Lord completely took me by surprise. I was happy and comfortable where I was living and had no intention of moving in the foreseeable future.

However, he maneuvered the situation to where I had no choice. I had to move.

While the situation was a complete surprise to me, it was never a surprise to the Lord.

The Lord, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” {Joshua 1:9}

Throughout the process I heard someone say “sometimes God has to force us out of our comfort zone” to provide something better for us. I realized this was what he was doing in my life.
