Wellness Tuesday: Eating In vs. Eating Out

I don’t like to cook.   At least not usually.

Eating out is quick and simple, but not always healthy--even when disguised that way

Eating out is quick and simple, but not always healthy–even when disguised that way

When I do cook, I want it to be quick and simple.

I’d prefer to bake over cook, if I have to be in the kitchen.

However, it’s so much easier to just pick something up and eat out.

After all, eating out is:

  • quick
  • simple
  • hassle free

{Most of the time}

Yet, I’ve discovered there are benefits to eating in also:

  • I make better choices

    Cooking takes longer but if healthy alternative are made can be the better choice

  • I make healthier choices
  • I don’t eat as much
  • Over all, I spend less in a week eating in than I would eating out

 

So, I’m trying to learn how to eat in more and eat out less.
