Wellness Tuesday: 9 Quick and Easy Breakfast Ideas

Last week, I shared why breakfast is important to eat.

So, what are some healthy options for breakfast?

If you’re like me you don’t have a lot of time to prepare a meal.

Fruit is always a quick meal and can easily be combined with yogurt or oatmeal.

  1. Low-fat Yogurt—You can even make a smoothie if that is preferable
  2. Oatmeal—oatmeal is good for you because it is full of fiber. Add raisins and nuts for more fiber and protein.
  3. Fruits {Banana, Apple, Oranges, etc.}
  4. Omelets with healthy veggies
  5. Hard-boiled egg
  6. Whole wheat toast or muffins
  7. Whole Grain Cereal with skim or low-fat meat
  8. Healthy Breakfast bar
  9. Whole Grain Bagel with low-fat cream cheese

Some of these options you can even mix and match.  Such as a banana and oatmeal.  Or a hard-boiled egg and yogurt smoothie.
